Kizushi
喜三鮨
At Kizushi in Nishiogi-Kita, diners enjoy sushi crafted with thorough prep work and flavorful seasoned rice, from jo-nigiri and tokujo sets to jo-chirashi.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
At Kizushi, sushi is prepared with detailed care across every piece while remaining approachable in price. The rice is seasoned with a measured touch of vinegar and keeps a distinct, firm grain, creating a fragrant base that lets the natural taste of fresh fish come through.
The menu features options such as tokujo and jo-nigiri, topped with generous cuts, alongside satisfying jo-chirashi bowls. The preparation highlights the inherent character of each ingredient, from clean, sweet sea urchin to tuna finished without excess heaviness, and kuruma prawn showing clear red-and-white stripes. Items such as tekka-maki served without nori to showcase the tuna directly, as well as sashimi platters, add further variety to a casual drink or meal.
Takeout can also be arranged by advance reservation for family gatherings and special occasions. Because the kitchen prepares each order deliberately, beginning with cooking the rice specifically for the pickup, placing an order well ahead of time ensures the meal is ready without rush.
